Important Notice

We are sad to announce that, after more than 50 years operating in the Westcliff area,  from 31st October 2022 Paint Pots Preschool will be closing permanently.

This is due to a lack of sustainable funding and significant increases to the settings running costs.

Please note that this mailbox will no longer be monitored.

About us

The School

We are a long established, committee run, dedicated and highly motivated pre-school. We provide a stimulating educational programme for children aged 2 to 5 years, following the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.

We are open term time and offer morning and afternoon sessions, as well as optional Lunch Club each day.

We work with your child's individual needs and interests with you in partnership. Your input is always welcomed.

Key Persons

Paint pots preschool setting uses a key person approach. This means that each member of staff has a group of children for whom they are particularly responsible. Your child's key person will be the person who works with you to make sure that what we provide is right for your child's particular needs and interests. When your child first starts at the setting, your Key Person will help your child to settle in and throughout your child's time at the setting, they will help your child to benefit from the setting's activities.

Continual Professional Development

As well as gaining qualifications in early years care and education, the setting staff take part in further training to help them to keep up to date with thinking about early years care and education. The setting also keeps itself up to date with best practice in early years care and education, as a member of the Early Years Alliance.
